The beginnings of
Midnight Moon

The first location of Midnight Moon
was inside of Java Junction
Coffee House (currently Java Bay
Coffee House). The business
grew there for 3 1/2 years before
outgrowing the confines of the
combined space. A new location
was found just down Main Street
in Kegonsa Plaza, where the
store has resided comfortably
ever since.
Out of the ashes of a travelling
wholesale business another
business bloomed. Co-Owner
John Jaglowski has travelled
throughout the Midwest and
Hawaii selling a variety of jewelry,
stones and accessories for many
years. A variety of personal
reasons made it reasonable to
open a bead store in Stoughton,
WI.
The winds of change were in the
air when Co-Owner Lynn Gifford
found herself in Stoughton, WI.
With a background in art and
graphic design, Lynn decided to
apply her visual design skills to
teaching beading classes at
Midnight Moon. Now with over 5
years experience teaching locally
and nationally, Lynn teaches
beading to people from all walks
of life.
From Madison, WI: From the belt line, take exit #266 Hwy. 51 South
(Stoughton Rd.) to Stoughton approx. 12 miles. Hwy 51 is Main Street.
We are located downtown on the right side.
From Madison, WI: (another way) Take 90-94 South. Exit on Cty.
Hwy. N. Stoughton/Cottage Grove exit #147. Turn right on Cty. N to
Stoughton, approx. 5.7 miles. Turn right at stop light (Hwy. 51
intersection) go approx. 1.3 miles. We are located downtown on the
left side of Main Street.
From Dodgeville, WI: Take Hwy. 18 to the Paoli exit. Turn right at stop
sign. Go approx. 1/4 mile and turn left at the 4 way stop(County Rd.
MM). Continue on MM for approx. 7 miles. Turn left on Cty. Hwy. M,
take an immediate right onto on ramp for Hwy. 14. Take Stoughton exit
off of Hwy 14. Continue on Hwy. 138 approx. 8 miles. Turn right on Hwy
51. You are now in Stoughton. Hwy 51 is Main Street. We are
downtown on the right.
From Milwaukee, WI: Take Interstate 94 West, exit on Cottage Grove
exit. Turn left at stop sign. Continue south on Cty. Hwy. N through
Cottage Grove to Stoughton. (Caution: Cottage Grove Police strictly
enforce the speed limit on this road) Turn right at the stop light. (Hwy.
51 intersection.) go approx. 1.3 miles. We are located downtown on
the left side of Main Street.
From Rockford, IL: Take Interstate 90 North, take the Stoughton exit
(Exit #156). Take Hwy 51 North into Stoughton, approx. 9 miles Hwy.
51 is Main Street. Midnight Moon is Located downtown on the left side
